By now you've heard there's a 15-minute film showing a young Marilyn Monroe performing oral sex. The film had been locked away in an FBI vault, but has now been purchased by an unidentified New York businessman for $1.5 million. He purchased the film to lock it away and "protect her privacy."
"The gentleman who bought it said out of respect for Marilyn he’s not going to make a joke of it and put it on the Internet and try to exploit her," said memorabilia collector Keya Morgan. "That’s not his intention and I would never get my name involved if that were to happen."Monroe is clothed and the man’s face remains out of the frame for the entire 15 minutes of the film, said Morgan, who watched it.
And watched it...and watched it...and watched it...and made copies of it...
Good thing the businessman is protecting the privacy of a dead woman who enjoyed getting naked and having public affairs. Way to go, Lancelot!
PS -- The open bidding on ebay for the film starts at $1.6 million.
